Do not create a follow up for a closed ticket, create a new ticket instead.

PostmasterNoFollowupForClosedTickets

DESCRIPTION

If you close tickets and it is not allowed that there are articles added when the ticket is closed and you do not want to loose the email, a new ticket should be created.

This package does exactly that. It checks if the mail would be a followup of a ticket. If that ticket is closed, a new ticket is created (instead of an article).

The new ticket is linked to the closed one.

Hi. If a ticket is recived and answered, but set to status open, and the customer responds, a new ticket is created. As i understand a new ticket sould only be created if the status was closed?

Hey, isnt that a standard feature of otrs? Configuration of this feature is done by queue. Greetings
