DESCRIPTION

This is a backend for DynamicFields to use ITSM Config Items in DynamicFields.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a very short document. The addon ships a PDF document with more detailed information.

CONFIGURATION

Constrictions

With constrictions, you can define additional search parameters. If you select class "Computer" all computers are search. If you have a dynamic field for Lenovo Laptops, you can define the constriction

    Vendor::Configuration::Lenovo::1

The first column (e.g. Vendor) defines which config item attribute is search. The second column defines where the value comes from. In this case, it is a hard-coded value. That value is defined in column three (Levono). And it is a mandatory search parameter.

When you define the constriction

    Owner::CustomerUser::UserLogin::1

the Owner attribute of a config item must have the value of the CustomerUser's UserLogin attribute. So when the ticket belongs to the customer user test.customer, only config items that belong to this customer user are shown in the dialog.
